There is no need to go to device manager to install the driver in a compatibility mode. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’. Websites using Philips Device Connector (e.g. SpeechLive) usually provide guidance when an update is recommended or needed. Philips Device Connector Chrome extension updates itself automatically. However Philips client extension drivers, Philips server extension drivers and Philips Device Connector native host application have to be updated.

Each product has a unique serial number. A serial number usually starts with three letters followed by eleven numbers, e.g. DVT25100012345.

The serial number can be found on the rear side of the product or inside the battery compartment and in the Device Settings menu, under Information.
